Elmhurst, Ill. - Three Great West teams were found in the final national polls of the 2007 season. North Dakota State and South Dakota State, both serving the final year of the transition from NCAA Division II to the Football Championship Subdivision, and Cal Poly ended the season ranked.
NDSU, which was ranked No. 1 going into the final regular season finale against SDSU, finished 9th in the FCS Coaches and Media polls, and 6th in the Any Given Saturday Broadcasters poll. South Dakota State finished 19th in the Media and AGS polls, and 22nd in the Coaches poll. Cal Poly was listed 24th in the Media and AGS polls and just missed out on the Coaches Top 25, finishing in 26th place.
